Liam Antaine Ó Cathasaigh is a 20 year old student of ‘Business and Arts Management’ at the Institute of Art, Design and Technology in Dublin. He has performed with Siamsa Tíre since he was eight years old in productions of San Am Fadó, Oileán, Tearmann, Clann Lir and Tobar na Scéalta. He is a native Irish speaker and has performed in numerous productions ‘as Gaeilge’ with Aisteoirí Bhréanann and also in the Kerry International Chamber music Festival with Ann Óg. He is an All-Ireland Champion singer and has won many prizes for Irish Dancing. He is a multi-instrumentalist and has achieved Grade 8 in Classical Piano. From the age of five he has played many leading roles in Stage School productions. When he is not performing he is selling the world renowned Murphys Ice-cream.  |
